Best BBQ in the south! Stop on by, don't miss out on treating yourself to smoked ribs, BBQ sandwiches, sliced beef , and more! Nog to mention all the great sides like Mac'n'cheese , baked beans, potato salad, fries and more! Plus the best sweet tea and desserts you could ask for! I recommend the hummingbird cake personally! Friendly staff, great food, great atmosphere! ENJOY!

Food truck is only place in town I think. Cuban sandwich was excellent. It was quite busy with a steady stream of customers but no much wait. Worth going 1 min off the highway. Only outside seating.

RV’ing throughout Georgia is always great thanks to the friendly folks that live and work there. That being said, the folks at Oglethorpe BBQ are the closest you’ll get to being treated like family. The BBQ was fantastic. The homemade lemon meringue was perfection. Thank You Miss Patty for a wonderful visit and your hospitality. We sure hope to see y’all again.

This place was great! We walked in and immediately greeted by awesome workers. They were all polite and we joked around with them. We got the 4-meat plate and 3 sides to share. We got 2 orders of ribs, turkey, and beef brisket. All the meat was amazing. For sides, we got baked beans, Mac and cheese, corn nuggets, and sweet potato fries. We didn't really care for the beans, and the Mac was surprisingly bland! The corn nuggets were decent, and the sweet potato fries were super yummy! Overall, a great experience last weekend!

I love local cuisine and this is a great place to get it. I had the half chicken that was cooked to perfection. The fried okra was excellent and reminded me of what my grandmother made. The baked beans were okay. It's a little hole in the wall but has great food and is located near Andersonville National Park.

Wanting some BBQ on the drive back to Florida and stopped here. The food and service is excellent. We were greeted and sat immediately by some of the nicest people you will encounter. Southern hospitality. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is very clean. The BBQ we enjoyed was some of the best BBQ I have ever had along with the sides. Those reviews about unprofessional or rude workers is unfounded along with the comments about the freshness of their food. My family is very finicky about the quality and taste of the food we eat and we want good service as well. Oglethorpe BBQ Co. exceeded all of our expectations. We will definitely return whenever we’re in the area. it’s worth the short commute off I-75. My only regret is that we don’t live closer to be able to visit Oglethorpe bbq more frequently.

Just for the record, they DO NOT SERVE FOOD OUT THE TRASH. the old man likes to save bread to give to the birds when people throw it out. He shouldn't do it in front of customers but hes older, so oh well.
